Popular actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham, recently opened up about being dubbed the "World's Best Actress" in a candid interview with skit maker, Bae U Barbi. Contrary to being a self-proclaimed title, Toyin attributes it to her fans who bestowed it upon her.
During the interview, Toyin confidently shared the reasons behind her acclaimed title, emphasizing her exceptional beauty, intelligence, and acting prowess. She stated, "I didn't call myself [the world’s best actress], people called me the world's best because I am the world's best.
My confidence, beauty, brain, and acting are all top-notch. So, I am the world's best. I didn't call myself; they [fans] called me, and I claimed it."
In addition to discussing her title, Toyin delved into the dynamics of the entertainment industry, asserting that it leans favorably towards women. She believes female entertainers often achieve more success than their male counterparts, attributing this phenomenon to women's inherent emotional depth.
On a separate note, Toyin recently explained her decision to cast veteran actor Emeka Ike in her film, "Malaika," following his 13-year hiatus from the screen. In an interview on the Your View show, Toyin expressed the need to provide Emeka with another opportunity in the industry, considering the impact of his past marriage controversy on his career.
