Wizkid, a Nigerian musician, has been nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2022. This comes after he won one in 2021 for a collaboration with Beyoncé on "Brown Skin Girl." 

Nigeria Artists, the likes of Wizkid, Femi Kuti, Burna Boy, Terms, and Angelique Kidjo have all been nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Performance.

The album Made In Lagos by Nigerian Afrobeat Star was nominated for a Grammy for Best Global Music Album.

Femi Kuti and Made Kuti's Legacy + album, Angelique Kidjo's Mother Nature, and Rocky Dawumi's Voice of Bunbon Volume I are among his competitors.

Burna Boy, the African Giant, was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 2022. For his collaboration with Angelique Kidjo, as well as Femi Kuti's Pa Pa Pa and Wizkid and Terms' Essence, he was nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category.

Wizkid's Grammy nomination for 2022 is one of the year's most notable achievements for the musician. With his performance at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards, he was named Best African Act (MTV EMA).

Femi Kuti and Made Kuti's Legacy + album, Angelique Kidjo's Mother Nature, and Rocky Dawumi's Voice of Bunbon Volume I are among his competitors.

His Made in Lagos album was also a worldwide success, including the hit song "Essence" featuring Terms. The singer was also nominated for the MOBO Awards in the UK in 2021 for Best African Music Act and Best International Act.
