During the official inauguration of the National and State Campaign Councils for the November 11 Governorship Election, APC's National Chairman, Ganduje, urged party members and supporters to rally behind the party's candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo. He emphasized Kogi's history as a traditional APC stronghold and expressed confidence in securing an overwhelming victory. Ganduje expects nothing less than a 99% vote for the APC, citing their commitment to continuing good governance in the state.

Ododo, the APC flag bearer, expressed gratitude for the support and outlined his vision for Kogi's development in key areas like security, education, health, and agriculture.

The APC's National and State Gubernatorial Campaign Councils were inaugurated, with Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State leading the national council and Governor Yahaya Bello heading the state council. Abiodun pledged their commitment to conducting a vigorous and peaceful campaign to secure a resounding victory.

In Kogi, it appears that the APC is confident in its prospects for the upcoming election, citing the absence of a strong opposition challenge.
