Soldier Arrested for Criticizing Gov Sanwo-Olu in Viral Video

In recent news, the Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, has announced the arrest of a soldier who criticized Governor Sanwo-Olu in a viral video.

The incident stemmed from the governor's order to arrest a soldier and some motorcycle riders for traffic violations on the Lagos-Badagry expressway on January 2nd.

The unidentified soldier expressed dissatisfaction with the governor for calling a fellow soldier "useless" in front of civilians. Chief of Army Staff, Lagbaja, clarified on Tuesday that the behavior of the soldier in the video doesn't represent the entire Nigerian Army. He also mentioned that most viral videos criticizing the governor were fake, emphasizing that only one video was authentic and the involved soldier has been apprehended.
