Police Catch 'One Chance Couple' in Abuja - See Photo


Police officers from the Utako Police Divisional Headquarters have arrested a couple and another person involved in 'one chance' robbery in Abuja.

The trio, consisting of Chukwudi Okorie (51 years old, male), Chibuzor Okorie (43 years old, female), who are husband and wife, and Esther Gabriel (38 years old, female), all living in Akaraka Gwagwa, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), were taken into custody for their involvement in a series of robberies, specifically 'one chance' activities in the FCT and surrounding areas.

According to a statement released on Thursday by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the suspects admitted to carrying out several 'one chance' activities in the FCT prior to their arrest.

The police recovered a Blue Mazda Car with Registration No. FCT 590 EV, which was used by the syndicate to carry out their criminal activities.

SP Josephine Adeh mentioned that the investigation is ongoing to apprehend other accomplices. The Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Haruna G.
